Just One Person Safari Arrives in Kenya!

Vie Safari is pleased to offer fun and exciting Kenyan adventures to make our clients' trip a truly unforgettable experience. The Just One Person group is experiencing this firsthand this week as they embark on an eight-day excursion offered by Vie Safari. 

Our vacationers arrived last Monday in Kenya, excited and ready to experience all Africa has to offer.  A few highlights of their trip include a visit to Amboseli National Park to view wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, elephants, and antelopes and experience the breathtaking sight of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Ethical and responsible tourism is very important to us here at Vie Safari, and we like our clients to gain a broad understanding of the current social state in Africa.
In keeping with this concept, our travelers will visit schools in Kakamega, visit a girl's village to meet her family, and meet with community health workers and women's groups to learn about current issues such as HIV/AIDS and domestic abuse, all programs run by Just One Person, a program created and implemented by the amazing Annette Lilly Russ!

Just One Person began operating in 2008 with the simple mission of empowering 25 girls in rural Kenya by providing a three year life skills program that equips girls with the knowledge they need for making important decisions after graduating from secondary school.

Since then, based on this core mission, we've created an exemplary model of sustainable grassroots development that not only empowers girls, but schools, parents and communities as well.
