A Stay at Lake Baringo
Did you know that there are 500 different species of birds on one of the two freshwater lakes in the Rift Valley in Kenya? Lake Baringo has that and much more to offer. Famous for it flocks of flamingos and hot water springs, the lake is a beautiful place to observe Northern Kenya. For those who appriecate the natural outdoors, the lake is surrounded by volcanic ranges that are sure to impress any visitor. The Tugen Hills lie west of the lake and the Laikipia Escarpment to the east, both majestic in their own right.
Besides the hundreds of birds that reside here, the lake is also home to hippos, crocodiles, and other reptiles. Other game includes: greater kudu, buffalo, zebra, baboon, warthog, caracal, spotted hyena, impala, dik dik and many small mammals.
The lake also has several islands, the biggest being Ol Kokwe, that serves as an excellent base for exploring the lake.
If you decide to take our Green Mbugani Tour with Vie Safari, you will experience all this as well as a luxurious stay at the Lake Baringo Country Club.

The Club, whose atmosphere and staff are open and welcoming, comes equipped with a lounge, bar, freshwater swimming pool, and comfortable rooms while also serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
