Itinerary Summary

Safari Capital Nairobi – Masai Mara Game reserve via the Rift Valley- Safari capital- Amboseli National Park - Safari capital – Mt. Kenya-Safari Capital

 

DAY 1 : To Maasai Mara Game Reserve

You leave the safari capital Nairobi and head to the Rift Valley escarpment then travel across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift valley and Mt. Longonot.

Key information & Features: The escarpment road was constructed by Italian prisoners during World War II. Keep an eye for herds of giraffe and gazelle and the famous Maasai herdsmen adorned in red.

You head to Narok, a town in the Maasai heartland whose surrounding areas are not just famous for cattle herding but also the grain farming, mainly wheat and maize.

Lunch will be at Masai Mara upon arrival followed by an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight will be at the park lodge booked on a full board basis.

 

DAY 2: Maasai Mara

Morning and afternoon game drive in the vast reserve. Dinner will be at the park lodge.

 

DAY 3: To Amboseli National Park

Breakfast and checkout.

Leave Masai Mara and head back to Nairobi via Narok. Arrive in Nairobi just in time for lunch at one of the many restaurants in the city.

Travel through the spectacular open country – the Athi plains coated with acacia and scrub thorn. Look out for animals such as giraffe, gazelle, zebras and antelopes. You soon arrive at Namanga, the main boarder point between Kenya and Tanzania. It is at this point that you turn to your destination and soon you may see the majestic Kilimanjaro on your way to the Amboseli national park- home of many animals dominated by the elephants.

Dinner and overnight will be at the park lodge.

 

DAY 4: Amboseli National Park

Morning and afternoon game drives (do not forget to take your breakfast and Lunch!

 

DAY 5: To Mt Kenya

Checkout and head back to the city with lunch at a city hotel or restaurant

Your next destination will be Mount Kenya safari club –so fabulous and exclusive, traveling via Thika (pineapple country) and the colourful Karatina Market.

On a clear day you can have a magnificent view of Mt Kenya along the way – just a foretaste before you reach Mt. Kenya Safari club!

Dinner and overnight at Mt. Kenya Safari Club

Note: Ladies kindly requested to wear dresses or pant suits after 19.00hrs in the dining rooms, bar and lounge. No safari suits or jeans or sport shoes are allowed

 

DAY 6: Ol Pajeta Conservancy and Mt Kenya

After breakfast, pay a visit to Ol Pajeta Ranch where there is a large Rhino sanctuary, home of Ol’Morani, a resident Rhino so friendly and happy to be petted. The property is also home of Chimpanzee sanctuary originally established by Jane Goodall Institute.

Return to Mt. Kenya Safari Club in time for lunch.

Spend the afternoon enjoying your exceptional surroundings and participate in the many

available activities.

Do not forget to take your dinner lest your overnight stay might be too long!

 

DAY 7: Back to Nairobi and Departure

After breakfast, drive to Nanyuki town on your way back to Nairobi where you’ll be booked at a city hotel and organize for your transfer/departure.
